Responsibilities

In Optimized Electrotech we work with Electro-optic (Camera) systems. O->Sight is a common platform for all the Electro-optics systems developed in Optimized Electrotech. The selected candidate would be responsible for continuous enhancements of O->Sight platform. The enhancements would include adding new video analytics features, support for new cameras and customizing the platform for new Products. Major responsibilities would include implementing the camera protocols, integrating video analytics algorithms, new features and designing the UI and integrating third party libraries. The candidate is expected to interact with sales team to derive the application requirements and realize them. The candidate is also expected to interact with Image Processing Engineers, Electronics engineers for integrating their outputs into final application. Candidate must have the right attitude to work in a start-up environment and ability to work independently with minimum guidance.

Compensation – 8 lakhs

Optimized Electrotech Private Limited (OEPL) is an Indian Electro-Optics company making Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured (IDDM) Surveillance systems. The company was established in 2017 with a vision of creating a footprint in Indian Defence industry by providing cutting edge solutions customized to India’s requirements.

Mandatory qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Electronics
• Desired Experience: 3-4 years
• Strong programming knowledge, and specifically good skills in C/C++
• Knowledge of working with front-end (UI) development using either C#, QT or Java
• Knowledge of working with Streaming based applications, experience of handling socket programming and thread architectures.
• Ability to start from very high-level requirements and convert it into an implementable design
• Ability to start development from scratch
• Willing to carry out development activities following essential development standards

Desirable

• Experience in C# development
• Knowledge of working with integrating image processing, computer vision and machine learning algorithms
• Knowledge of working with Camera Protocols like ONVIF or C4I standards
